LinkedIn Video Downloader

Paste a public LinkedIn post link and save the video as an MP4. No account and no watermark.

Public posts only. Save videos you have the right to keep.

How to download a LinkedIn video

  1. 1

    Copy the post link

Open the post, click the ••• menu, and choose Copy link to post. The link looks like linkedin.com/posts/… or linkedin.com/feed/update/…

  2. 2

    Paste it above

The tool reads the public post and finds the video file LinkedIn hosts.

  3. 3

    Save the MP4

Preview the video, pick a resolution if more than one is available, then download it.

Which posts work

LinkedIn has no download button on most posts. This tool reads a public post link and saves the MP4 LinkedIn already stores.

PostDownload
A public post with a video uploaded to LinkedInYes
Your own public video, when you no longer have the original fileYes
A post that asks you to sign inNo
A YouTube or Vimeo link shared on LinkedInNo
A document, image, or carousel that isn't a videoNo
A LinkedIn Learning courseNo

What the file is

You get the MP4 LinkedIn serves for that post: H.264 video and AAC audio, at the resolution the creator uploaded. The usual sizes are 720p and 1080p. A 4K file only comes back when the upload was 4K.

The tool does not re-encode the video and does not add a watermark. It also can't raise the resolution. If the post looks soft when you play it full screen on LinkedIn, the download will look the same.

Also try the LinkedIn text formatter and the LinkedIn character counter.

FAQs

Is this LinkedIn video downloader free?

Yes. There's no sign-up, no download cap, and no watermark.

Do I need a LinkedIn account or Premium?

No. The tool reads the public post link. Premium doesn't change whether that video can be saved.

Can I download a private LinkedIn video?

No. The post has to open without signing in. Messages, private groups, and LinkedIn Learning courses stay on LinkedIn.

What quality will the download be?

The highest MP4 LinkedIn serves for that post, usually 720p or 1080p. If LinkedIn offers more than one size, you can pick a smaller one. The tool can't invent pixels that weren't uploaded.

Can I download a YouTube video that someone shared on LinkedIn?

No. LinkedIn is only showing YouTube's player. The file stays on YouTube, so there's nothing on LinkedIn to save.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. Paste the link in Safari, Chrome, or another mobile browser. On iPhone, if the video opens instead of saving, long-press it and choose Download Linked File.

Is the link I paste stored?

No. The tool fetches the public post to find the video, then drops the link. It never asks for your LinkedIn password.

Is it OK to download someone else's video?

Save your own videos, or a public video you have permission to keep. Republishing someone else's video needs their permission.
